"Petesy" Langston Softball Field

The Ouachita softball field was renamed in 2023 in honor of Lavinia "Petesy" Langston and her family's contributions to the athletics programs. The field was originally part of Arkadelphia'a Central Park and was used for little league baseball until Ouachita acquired the facility in 2005. The field held the name of Sully Anderson prior to 2023, honoring the Arkadelphia native and long-time volunteer little league baseball coach. The facility offers bench-style seating for 300 fans, plus berm seating for many more. In 2024, the facility was renovated to include an artificial turf halo along the backstop stretching to each dugout. The outfield is natural grass, and the infield is all-dirt. A new clubhouse was opened in 2023 featuring a spacious locker room. Also on the facility grounds is a batting cage, concession stand, and restrooms.
