Bill Vining Arena

Bill Vining Arena is the home of the men’s and women’s basketball programs. It features bench and chair back seating for 2,400 fans. Vining served as head coach of Ouachita’s men’s basketball team for 34 seasons from 1955-1989. He led the team to six AIC championships and six NAIA District 17 titles. He also served as athletic director from 1965-1996. Formerly Rockefeller Field House, the arena was dedicated in Vining’s honor in 1997.
