E.J. Outley, a native of Hughes, Arkansas, was an All-AIC track star for the Tigers from 1971-75.

He helped Ouachita win three straight Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference championships in '73, '74, and '75.

Outley owns the AIC record for 440 yard dash with a time of 47.6 in 1972.
