Ouachita Baptist University Athletics

Dr. Jake Shambarger served 30 years at Ouachita and, among other accomplishments, guided the Tiger baseball team to six consecutive Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference championships from 1967-72 and three NAIA District 17 championships during that stretch.

He also served as assistant basketball coach during those years.

Following his coaching career, he continued to serve as a professor of education at Ouachita.
