Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- The Ouachita Lady Tigers (16-8, 9-5 GAC) posted an impressive team performance on Monday night, downing the rival Lady Reddies of Henderson State (12-12, 5-9 GAC) by a final score of 82-69. The Lady Tigers posted 39 points in the first half and 43 in the second half, including points from nine of the 10 players that participated in the contest.
Ouachita was led by senior
A'Laeshia Adams, who recorded 18 points in the game while adding a game-high nine points. Senior
Sarah Pugh added 13 points for Ouachita while sophomore
Nashia James added 12 to the Lady Tiger's totals. Senior
Beulah Osueke and Adams both recorded a team-high two assists. Of the nine players that scored for the Lady Tigers, all of them had four or more points.
Henderson State was led by Crystal Harrison and Destiny Smith, both of which registered 16 points. Krystal Beachum added 14 points for the Lady Reddies while Cheree Freeman added 10 points. Harrison finished with a team-high eight rebounds while three players finished with an assists for Henderson.
Ouachita shot 33.8 percent from the floor while the Lady Reddies shot 39.6 percent. The Lady Tigers owned the boards in the game though, grabbing 50 rebounds as compared to Henderson's 35.
Ouachita returns to action on Thursday, when they host Arkansas Tech for Pink Out night. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
