Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- After a strenuous 12 straight road games to kick off the 2012 campaign, the Ouachita Lady Tigers (4-9, 1-1 GAC) finally got to play in front of a home crowd on Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers swept the Cotton Blossoms in three sets, literally owning the game from the get-go, winning the sets by scores of 25-13, 25-22 and 25-16.
Ouachita had an offensive attack that Monticello couldn't seem to figure out, as five players finished with five kills or more. They also had a spectacular defensive game with four players posting five or more digs during the contest. The Lady Tigers recorded 11 total blocks in the game, only one of which was a solo effort.
Ouachita finished the game with an attacking percentage of .224, while limiting their errors in the contest, only committing 17. The first set of the game might have been the most impressive, as the Lady Tigers posted a 25-13 victory behind a .406 attacking percentage and only two errors.
The Lady Tigers have won three of their last four and look to continue their winning habits on Thursday, when they play host to Harding. That game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
