Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The Lady Tigers played 90 minutes of regular time soccer, plus 20 minutes of overtime on Sunday but still ended in a draw, tying the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs 1-1.
The top two teams in the Great American Conference were neck and neck throughout the entire match. Both teams took a total of 15 shots each, resulting in a single goal for each team.
The first half featured excellent defense played by both teams. OBU grabbed the first lead of the game, however, in the 40
th minute when sophomore
Haley Hatcher scored her 12
th goal of the season to give the Lady Tigers a 1-0 lead. Hatcher's goal was the lone goal of the half.
The second half featured a little more offense from both sides, in which the Lady Tigers took nine shots and the Bulldogs took seven. The 16 total shots only resulted in one goal, though, coming from SWOSU sophomore Alexis Russell in the 76
th minute.
Regular time ended in the 1-1 draw, creating two ten-minute halves of overtime. At the end of overtime, the score was still 1-1, ending the game in a tie.

Sarah Broyles had a game high seven saves as the team's keeper, and Hatcher led both teams with six shots.
The Lady Tigers (7-1-1, 2-0-1) travel to Bethany, Okla. on Friday, Oct. 11, to take on the Sothern Nazarene Crimson Storm. Kickoff is at 5:00 p.m.
