Lady Tigers Shutout The Crimson Storm 3-0

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Lady Tigers defended Tiger Field in dominate fashion with a 3-0 shutout over conference foe Southern Nazarene University. The win puts the Lady Tigers at 10-5-1 on the season.

The Lady Tigers scored two goals in the first half. The first came on a shot by Haley Hatcher at the 20:13 mark. It was Hatcher's 16th on the season, best in the Great American Conference.

The Lady Tigers would score again at 27:06 in the first half on a header by freshman Tessa Woodcock. Yoli Zamarripa, the Southern Nazarene goalie, knocked away a shot by Lady Tiger sophomore Morgan Allen. Woodcock was able to head the ball into the net off the Zamarripa deflection.

Ouachita would score again in the second half when Hatcher would find Tristan Mazzu open. Mazzu would find the back of an empty net after a nice move that overplayed the Southern Nazarene goal keeper.

Senior goalie Sarah Broyles had seven saves for the Lady Tigers.

The Lady Tigers will play their regular season finale at home this Sunday at 1:00 pm against East Central. Ouachita will be honoring it's seniors at this game.
