ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tiger volleyball team is in Hot Springs, Ark. to face off against Southwestern Oklahoma State tonight (Nov. 21) in the opening round of the Great American Conference Tournament at Summit Arena.
The Tigers enter the tournament as the #4 seed after finishing the season 15-11 overall and 8-6 in conference play. The Lady Bulldogs of SWOSU are the #5 seed in the tournament.
In their only regular season matchupof 2013, the Tigers came back from a 0-2 deficit and beat the Lady Bulldogs 3-2 in Weatherford, Okla. It was one of two wins of a three-game road trip that turned the season around for Ouachita and ended a six-game losing streak.

Abby Pickett received All-GAC Honorable Mention honors for their play this season.
The Tigers' match will start at 7:30 p.m. A Tiger win would advance them to tomorrow's semi-final match against the winner of the Harding/UAM matchup. The semi-final match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
