Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The 2-6 Ouachita Tigers men's basketball team continued their rough start to the 2013-14 season Tuesday night with a road loss to Midwestern State (7-2), 73-51. It was the sixth straight loss for the Tigers.
 
Guard Micah Delph led the Tigers with 17 points and seven rebounds. Eric Braeuer and Allen Buchanan each had 10 points each. The three Tigers were the only ones to score more than four points on a night where the iron was unkind for Ouachita. The team shot 28% from the field.
 
The Mustangs of Midwestern State also had a poor shooting night, shooting 39% from the field, but were able to capitalize on second-chance opportunities resulting from their 19 offensive rebounds.
 
Monzaigo Williams led the Mustangs with 18 points and six assists.
 
The Tigers return home to Bill Vining Arena this Friday, December 20. They tipoff against LSU-Shreveport at 1:00 pm. Ouachita Baptist Athletics invites all local businesses and groups to attend Friday's game. Admission will be free.
