Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Lady Tigers lost to the eight-ranked Harding Bisons on Saturday by a final score of 82-54.
Harding opened the scoring and never looked back, maintaining the lead for the entire game. In the first half, the Bisons shot 52.9% from the field and 50% from deep, while holding the Lady Tigers to 26.1% from the field and no three-pointers. Harding led 45-17 at the half.
In the second half, the Lady Tigers improved their shooting tremendously, nailing 38.5% of their shots from behind the arc. Both teams scored 37 points in the half, to finish the game with a score of 82-54 in favor of the Bisons.
Shana Holmes led the Bisons in scoring with 17 points, followed by Lauren Crenshaw with 13. As a team, the Bisons shot 47.4% from the field. Harding also forced the Lady Tigers to commit 21 turnovers.

Nashia James, who scored 18 points and grabbed 10 boards. James also recorded five steals.
Breanna Harris scored in double-digits, as well, finishing the game with 13 points.
The Lady Tigers (3-9, 1-5) travel to Alva, Okla. on Thursday, Jan. 16, as they take on Northwestern Oklahoma State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
