Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The OBU Tigers' two-game conference win streak came to an end on Saturday, as the Tigers fell to the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs 72-68.
Carven Holcolmbe started the scoring off for the game, giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead. Holcolmbe's bucket sparked a 23-5 run for the Tigers to start the first half. Despite multiple runs from the Bulldogs, Ouachita held a comfortable lead throughout the half and went into halftime ahead 44-30.

Micah Delph's hot shooting from the game on Thursday carried over early, as he finished the first half with a game-high 16 points on 7-12 shooting from the field.
Colt Fason followed Delph with 10 first half points and four rebounds. Holcolmbe led all players at the half with six boards.
The second half was a completely different story, as the Bulldogs opened on a 23-6 run to take a one point lead with less than nine minutes to play. The next four minutes featured five ties and five lead changes before Southwestern took a one point lead with 5:21 to play. The Bulldogs were able to keep the lead until the buzzer sounded and steal the win.
The Tigers were plagued by second half shooting, in which they shot 33.3% from the field and 14.3% from deep. Delph led the Tigers with eight points in the half, but was only 1-6 from the field.
Delph finished the game with a game-high 24 points. He also added eight boards.
Colt Fason totaled 15 points and eight boards in the game, followed by
Eric Braeuer with 14.
The Tigers (5-9, 2-6) will be at home on Tuesday, Jan. 21, as they take on Arkansas-Monticello. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
