ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers men's soccer team will put their Central region #4 ranking and two-game win streak on the line when they host Union University tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Badger Stadium on the campus of Arkadelphia High School. The junior varsity squads will also play at 8:00 p.m.
The 5-5-1 Tigers are 4-0-1 in their last five matches, including a 3-2 win at Northeastern State and a 1-1 tie with Texas A&M International. Both schools were both nationally ranked at the time. The Tigers have outscored their opponents 14-6 during this span.
Freshman
Tinashe Chigede has five goals and two assists in the last five games. He leads the Tigers in seven offensive categories, four of which he ranks in the top 50 nationally. His seven goals and 18 total points are third best among independents.
Senior
David Henley continues his stellar play between the posts and currently ranks second in total saves and saves per game.Â
