Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Haley Hatcher scored four goals to help lead the Tigers to a 5-3 win over the Lady Bisons of Harding. The win was the second-straight conference win for Ouachita and improved their GAC record to 3-2. Bryson Rial scored a goal and added an assist for Ouachita.

Hatcher's first goal came early in the first half at the 6:22 mark. Bryson Rial found an open Hatcher on the left side and a strike by Haley found the bottom left corner of the net to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. Harding answered quickly, scoring a goal of a corner kick at the 11:39 mark to tie it 1-1. After a missed shot by Morgan Allen, the Lady Bison keeper left the ball short on a goal kick. Hatcher stole the ball and scored her second of the game, finding the upper left corner of the net with just under 20 minutes left to play in the first half.

Ouachita led 2-1 at halftime. The Tigers outshot Harding 10-9 in the first period.

Harding tied it up 2-2 with just over two minutes played in the second half on a header off a corner kick. The Tigers answered four minutes later, retaking the lead 3-2 on a rocket by Hatcher banged off the bottom of the crossbar and into the net. Bryson Rial struck next for Ouachita with a finesse shot past the Harding keeper into the right corner of the net.

The two teams exchanged shots and saves until the 76 minute mark, when Haley Hatcher would score her fourth goal of the game, this time with a shot off her left foot to give Ouachita a 5-2 lead. The Lady Bisons added a goal late in the second period, but the Tigers would hold on and prevail 5-3.

The win moved the Tigers into second place in the GAC standings, one game behind Harding and Southern Nazarene. Hatcher's four goals give her 14 on the season, five shy of tying her GAC single-season record of 19 set last season.,

Ouachita will travel to Alva, Oklahoma next Thursday, October 23 to face Northwestern Oklahoma State to start a four-game road trip. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
