Bryson Rial's goal advances Tigers into GAC finals for third time in four years

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Bryson Rial's second-half goal was all it took for the Ouachita Tigers women's soccer team to advance to it's third GAC finals appearance in four years, defeating Harding 1-0. Ouachita's victory puts them in Sunday's championship final versus the winner of this afternoon semi-final match.

After a scoreless first half, Ouachita struck early in the second. Rial's goal came from 18 yards out on a quick turn-and -shoot from the center of the field. It was Bryson's fourth goal of the year, second-best on the team.

Ouachita continued an aggressive offensive attack in the second period, getting eight shots, five of which were on goal. Keeper Lauren Llanes stopped all five Lady Bisons shots on goal to earn the shutout victory, her first of the year.

The Tigers will play on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. versus the winner of the East Central/Southern Nazarene semi-final match.
