Tigers Unable to Outshoot Harding

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Tigers fell on the road on Saturday, losing to the Harding Bisons 81-64.

Ouachita was hot in the first half, shooting 57.9 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep. The Tigers' 13 turnovers, however, allowed Harding to claim a 33-31 halftime lead.

The Tigers fixed their turnover issues in the second half, but Harding's second-half shooting of 62.5% was too much too overcome. Harding was led by Hayden Johnson, who scored 17 points in the half, and did not miss a shot (4-4 FG, 1-1 3FG, 8-8 FT).

Johnson finished with a game-high 24 points, and his teammate, Jacob Gibson, scored 21.

The Tigers were led by Allen Buchanan, who scored 12 points, followed by Eric Braeuer and Colt Fason who scored 10 points each. Micah Delph added five points, six assists and seven boards.

The Tigers (7-15, 4-12) will play at home on Thursday, Feb. 20, as they take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m.
