Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Lady Tigers fell to 0-5 in Great American Conference play on Saturday, losing to the Harding Lady Bisons 70-45.

The Lady Tigers held the lead for much of the first half, until a 13-2 run from the Lady Bisons (10-2, 6-0 GAC) gave Harding a 26-18 lead with 6:20 remaining. Harding was able to maintain its lead until halftime, but the Lady Tigers never trailed by more than eight.

Ouachita ended the first half with only seven turnovers, tying a season-low in a half. The Lady Tigers also recorded eight assists, three of which coming from Katherine West.

Katie Kapler led all scorers in the first half with nine points, followed by Breanna Harris and Taylor Bowles with six points each. Despite not scoring in the first half, Kori Bullard pulled down a team-high four rebounds.

Harding took control of the game in the second half, forcing 11 Ouachita turnovers and holding the Lady Tigers to only 25.9 percent from the field. The Lady Bisons were able to dominate by out-rebounding Ouachita 46-28 and scoring 10 more points in the paint.

Harding's Arielle Saunders led all scorers for the game with 25 points. She also added a game-high 11 rebounds.

For the Lady Tigers, Harris finished with a team-high 12 points, followed by Kapler with 11. Jasmine Cashaw led Ouachita with seven boards, and West picked up five assists and only one turnover in 35 minutes of play.

The Lady Tigers (4-8, 0-5 GAC) will travel to Weatherford Okla. on Thursday, Jan. 8, for a conference game against Southwestern Oklahoma State. The game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
