ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Ouachita's
Dylan Tritton scored two of the Tigers' three first-half goals, helping them take sole possession of first place in the GAC with a 3-0 win over Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma Thursday night. The win improved the Tigers to 3-1 in conference play.
The Tigers scored their three goals in a span of 14 minutes, beginning at the 30 minute mark when
Tinashe Chigede found
Sewell Yost, allowing Yost to score his second goal of the season. Five minutes later, Chigede earned his second assist of the game after
Dylan Tritton's shot found the back of the Crimson Storm's net.
With less than a minute left in the first half, Tritton scored again to put the Tigers up 3-0 at the half. Ouachita outshot Southern Nazarene 18-4 in the first half. For the game, the Tigers made 28 shots, with 11 on goal. Ouachita had nine players with multiple shots, led by Chigede's five.
Ryan Trayner had four shots, followed by Yost with three.

Nelson Pacheco earned his first shutout win of the season while recording six saves.
The Tigers will face Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday, October 17, at 3:00 p.m. in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The Bison handed Ouachita its only conference loss earlier this season.
