Box Score Monticello, Ark. - After taking a commanding 20-0 lead, the Ouachita Tigers volleyball team were forced to regroup and win the fifth and final set over Arkansas-Monticello to earn a 3-2 win and improve to 15-9 on the season. Ouachita took advantage of 41 attack errors by the Blossoms to earn their eighth conference win.
The Tigers took the first two sets by scores of 25-12 and 25-18. Ouachita finished the first two sets with an outstanding attack percentage of .357, committing only one attack error in 55 attempts. The Tigers held a 17-11 lead in the third set and appeared to be on their way to their 11th straight-set win of the season. The Blossoms however, finished the set with a 14-5 run to take set three form Ouachita.Â
The Blossoms of Arkansas-Monticello controlled set four, leading by as many as 10 to take set four and even the match at 2-2. Ouachita committed seven attack errors in set four, equaling their attack errors in the first three ets combined.Â
Ouachita responded to the pressure of the fifth and deciding set. After falling behind 4-1, the Ouachita middles took control of the match.

Caitlin Cantrell provided crucial kills and blocks to help the tigers close set five with a 14-5 run and give Ouachita their first five-set win of the season.Â

Caitlin Cantrell finished with seven blocks and two service aces.
Stormi Leonard recorded a double-double, finishing with 40 assists and 10 kills. Ashley Wake led the Tigers with 29 digs.Â
