Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers held off a second-half push from the Tigers of East Central University to win their thirteenth straight home game, 80-61, and move closer towards earning theirfirst regular season Great American Conference title.
Tirrell Brown and
Colt Fason each registered a double-double in a game where the Tigers outrebounded ECU 50-27. Brown finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Fason had 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. MIcah Delph finished with 12 points, including two three-pointers, and four assists.
David Berete had a game-high eight assists to go along with nine points.
Carven Holcombe provided an offensive spark off the bench going 58 for 13 points, second-highest total for the team in the game.
On defense, the Tigers held ECU to 35% shooting from the field in the game. They had nine steals and scored 19 points off of turnovers.
Ouachita needs to win two of their next four games to earn a regular-season conference championship. Â
