Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Lady Tigers earned a hard-fought second-straight win at home over the Tigers of East Central University, 48-45. The Lady Tigers did most of their damage inside, scoring 20 points i n the paint.
Katie Kapler led Ouachita with 12 points and
Breanna Harris had 10,
Kapler went 3-6 from the floor in the first half, leading all scorers with eight points. her three at the end of the first half gave the Lady Tigers a seven-point lead going into halftime. It was their largest lead of the game.,
ECU opened the second half with a 10-0 run to take the lead 26-23. ECU led for most of the second half, extending it to seven points after a jumper by Dilan Webster put them up 41-34,
With 6:48 remaining, the Lady Tigers defense stepped up allowed only four more points by ECU.
Breanna Harris and
Kori Bullard would convert on back-to-back buckets to cut the ECU lead to 41-39.
Katie Kapler scored inside on the Lady Tigers next possession to tie it at 41-41.
ECU would sink four free throws to keep pace with Ouachita and with five seconds remaining, Harris would drive through the paint and sink a bank-shot to give the Lady Tigers a 48-45 win.
