ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers wrestling squad will face off against the Oklahoma City University Stars tonight at the Sturgis Physical Education Center. This wioll be the first home dual for Ouachita in the 2015-16 season. The Tigers have won the last two duals between the two schools by a combined score of 58-31. Tonight's dual is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Ouachita is coming off a weekend trip to Rome, Georgia where the Tigers battled against Newberry University and Shoter University. The Tigers rebounded from a 38-3 loss to Newberry to defeat Shorter 25-23. Ouachita has been struggling with injuries this season and have been without key senior leaders, All-American Payne Hatter and Sawyer Smith. Despite that, head coach Todd Allen knows this team has better wrestling in them than what the results have shown. 

133-pounder Weston Cronan had a tough weekend in Georgia after battling his way into the top-eight regional rankings. He'll look to get back on thw winning track tonight as the Tigers make begin their final push towards regionals and the opportunity to earn a spot at nationals. Sophomore Blake Clevenger has won four of his last five matches, including one win by fall and two major decisions. The 157-pounder appears to be hitting his stride at the right time of the year. A mid-season injury slowed down the hot start O'Dell Lee. Coach Allen expects Lee to be back on track over this three-dual home stretch.

With Hatter and Smith looking to be back at 100 percent by regionals, the Tigers hope to have five strong contenders for nationals. If successful, it would mark the third straight year that Ouachita has sent five wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.
