ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- With three matches reaming, the Ouachita Tigers stormed back from a six-point deficit, winning all three of the remaining matches to defeat the University of Central Missouri 25-18 in the final home dual of the season. Izzak Simar,

Aaron Clayton scored the final 13 points for the Tigers.
The Tigers found themselves down 8-0 to the Central Missouri Mules after the first three matches. A win by forfeit at the 149-pound match cut the Mules lead to two. Ouachita's 157-pounder,
Sawyer Smith, put the Tigers up 12-8 with his win by fall over Zane Heiter at the 2:36 mark. It was Smith's first action on the mat in 2016.
The Mules regained the lead with back-to-back technical fall wins at the 165 and 174-pound matches, giving them an 18-12 advantage.
184-pounder
Izaak Simar dominated Tyler Nelson in their match. Simar appeared to be headed to a technical fall win, but was able to pin Nelson at the 3:36 mark of the match and tie the dual at 18-18. It was the second straight dual win for Simar. 197-pounder
Austin Hailey followed with a 16-5 major decision win over Robert Schneider. Haliey's second-straight dual win gave the Tigers a 22-18 advantage heading into the heavyweight match.
Ouachita's
Aaron Clayton jumped out early on the Mules' Nick Lovejoy scoring a takedown to open the first period. Clayton dominated his opponent throughout the match, scoring a 9-4 decision win and lock up the dual for the Tigers with a 25-18 final.
The Tigers will travel to Indianapolis, Ind. on Feb.6 to compete in the Greyhound Open.
