CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Ouachita Tigers men's swimming and diving team faced off against Delta State University at the Delta State Aquatic Center on Saturday. The Tigers fell 169-87.
Senior
David Wray finished first in the 200 Free with a time of 1:46.09. Tigers
Jacob Jones and
Riley Bunyard also placed in the event, giving Ouachita a total of 12 points in the event. Ouachita earned nine points in the 50 Free when
Matt Cox,
Cawley Starling, and Bunyard finished second through fourth respectively.
Cox and Starling finished second and fourth respectively in the men's 100 Free to earn the Tigers six points. Wray and
Noah Day took second and third in the 200 Backstroke.
Brandon Parramore and
Seth Fox earned second and third place finishes in the 200 Breaststroke, Jones,
Jacob Evans and Bunyard earned the Tigers nine points with their finishes in the 500 Free.
The Tigers will travel to Little Rock on January 16 to face the Little Rock Trojans. The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
