ARKADELPHIA, Ark. –The Ouachita Tigers' women's soccer team defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Okla., by a final score of 1-0.
Bryson Thomas scored the game-winning goal in overtime. The Tigers' record has improved to 7-6-1 on the season and 7-2 in conference.
The Tigers produced 21 shots in the game, however they were unable to find a goal throughout the entirety of regulation. Finally,
Bryson Thomas led the breakthrough in the 110th minute. Thomas had seven shots in the game, while teammate
Dina Harper had six.
Defensively, goalkeeper
Erin Webster kept a clean sheet and made five saves.
The Tigers' next game will be played on Oct. 22 against Southwestern Oklahoma State. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. in Weatherford, Okla.
