ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers' men's soccer team fell to Delta State by a final score of 1-0 in non-conference play in Cleveland, Miss. The Tigers shot the ball ten times in the game. The game will drop Ouachita's record to 5-6 on the season.

The only goal of the game came from Delta State in the 34th minute. A Delta State defender poked the ball in the back of the net after a free kick. The Tigers held the Statesmen scoreless for the remainder of the game.

Ouachita was able to accumulate 10 shots of the game, six of which were on target.
Brandon Davis led the Tigers with four shots.
Joey Zerbo also contributed by shooting twice.

Defensively, the Tigers did well to hold Delta State to four shots on goal. Goalkeeper
Nelson Pacheco saved three of the shots, while the other was the deciding goal.

Ouachita will come home for their next game against Oklahoma Baptist. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. on Oct. 12.
