Erin Webster saved a season-high 13 saves in the loss. Both Northeastern goals came in the second half off 10 shots on goal.
Offensively, the Tigers mustered only two shots.
Dina Harper's first-half shot from the far-left wing was the team's lone shot on goal.
The Tigers will travel next to Siloam Springs, Ark. on Sept. 17 to face John Brown University. The match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
