ARKADELPHIA, Ark. –The Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team fell to Oklahoma Baptist by a final score of 3-0. The Tigers accumulated 17 shots in the game. Their record now stands at 4-4 on the season and 0-2 in the Great American Conference.
The Tigers were led offensively by
Sewell Yost, who amassed an impressive six shots in the game.
Joey Zerbo also contributed with three shots. The Tigers were able to place 11 of their 17 shots on target, but they were unable to place any in the back of the net.
All three of Oklahoma Baptist's goals were scored within the first 34 minutes of the game.
Nelson Pacheco was able to come up with seven saves.
The Tigers will look to rebound against Christian Brothers on Sept. 27. The game will be played at Kluck Field and will kick-off at 4 p.m.
