ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist women's soccer team (3-13-1, 3-9 GAC) closed out its regular season in Ada, Oklahoma Thursday afternoon with a 1-0 loss against East Central (6-6-4, 3-3-4 GAC).
The Tigers finished the match with 20 total shots, seven of which were on goal, while surrendering 23 shots with nine on goal. Ouachita keeper
Erin Webster collected eight saves in the match to increase her season total to 121 saves.
East Central came away with the game-winning goal during the second half of play, as Kendall Smith found the back of the net during the 58
th minute.
Kylie Sharp came off the bench to lead Ouachita in total shots (4) while placing one shot on goal. Six other Tigers also placed a shot on goal, but were unable to come away with a score.
The loss was the second of the season to East Central. The Tigers fell at home 1-0 to East Central on Oct. 7.
