Box Score RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist volleyball team (19-11, 9-7 GAC) fell in a near upset Thursday night as the Tigers closed out the regular season at ninth ranked Arkansas Tech (32-0, 16-0 GAC). Ouachita pushed the Golden Suns to five sets – 25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 25-18 – falling in the fifth set 15-12.
 
Katie Camp led the charge for the Tigers, closing out the match with 17 kills and two aces. Adrianna Nolly finished the night with 13 kills while Kori Bullard collected 10 kills and a team high six blocks.
 
Stormi Leonard added on to Ouachita's block total with four and led the Tigers with 47 assists. Leading the way in digs, with 23, was Nikki Clay.
 
As a team, Ouachita collected 54 kills on a .204 hitting percentage while Arkansas Tech finished with 67 kills and a .213 hitting percentage. The Tigers also grabbed 70 digs, 51 assists, nine blocks and three aces.
 
Ouachita will now await the Great American Conference's (GAC) tournament pairings as it enters into postseason play. The GAC Tournament is set to start on Nov. 16 in Hot Springs' Bank of the Ozarks Arena.
