ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – A stellar first half performance from behind the arc launched the Ouachita Lady Tigers' basketball team to a 69-54 win over Rogers State Friday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers made seven of 13 three-point attempts in the first half, rocketing them to 37 points and a 15-point halftime lead. Both
Morgan Miller and
Kori Bullard converted two of two first-half three-pointers. The Lady Tigers coasted with their 15-point lead in the second half and finished the game with a convincing victory.
Ouachita was led in scoring by Bullard who had 16 points. Bullard is beginning to find her stride on the basketball court after being an All-GAC volleyball player. Also performing well for Ouachita was Miller, who finished with 15 points and five offensive rebounds. Shakayla Begnaud accumulated 10 points for Ouachita.
The Lady Tigers' next game will be played on December 30 against Arkansas-Fort Smith.
