ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers' baseball team fell to Union by a final score of 9-3 in the final game of the season's opening series. The Tigers lost all three games in the series and their season record is now 0-3.
Union opened the game with a first inning run, but the Tigers responded quickly with an RBI from Preston Speers. Union scored seven runs over the course of the next four innings, but Ouachita responded with two runs in the bottom of the sixth. JD Speed singled up the middle to drive in the first run, and Kyle Alexander scored the second run after a Union error.
The Tigers next game will be against Arkansas-Monticello on Feb. 7. The first pitch will be at 2 p.m.
