ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team (3-4, 1-1 GAC) defeated Southern Nazarene (0-7-1, 0-2 GAC) 4-1 Saturday, picking up its first conference win of the season.
Four different Tigers found the back of the net as Ouachita unleashed 15 shots on the Storm with seven on goal. Southern Nazarene closed out the contest with 11 shots and five on goal.
Michiru Forbess hit the winning goal for Ouachita during the 36
th minute of play, giving the senior his first goal of the season.
Jakob Cuellar and
Eric Bentley both picked up their first goal of the season during the 78
th and 80
th minute, respectively.
Tinashe Chigede found his team leading seventh goal of the season to spark the scoring barrage for the Tigers. Chigede pushed in the game's first goal during the 11
th minute of play.

Edward Pacheco nearly came away with his second shutout of the season as he finished the contest with four saves and one goal against. Pacheco gave up his lone goal with just 17 seconds to play.
Ouachita will now travel to St. Charles, Missouri next Wednesday, Sept. 27 for a non-conference match against Lindenwood at 1 p.m.
