ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist women's soccer team (1-5-1, 1-1 GAC) picked up its first conference win of the season Saturday afternoon in a 4-1 win over Southern Nazarene (2-6, 0-2 GAC).
Bryson Thomas scored the winning goal for the Tigers during the 33
rd minute. The junior forward nearly finished with a hat trick as she also hit in the first goal of the match during the 17
th minute. Thomas' two goals were the first for her this season.
Kiara Rolen pushed Ouachita's lead out to 3-0 in the 40
th minute of play with her first goal of the season.
Kylie Sharp capped off the Tigers' scoring with her first goal of the season during the 61
st minute.

Erin Webster started the match and shutout the Storm during the first half before being replaced by
Heather McLarry. Webster finished the day with three saves while McLarry picked up four saves.
Southern Nazarene broke up the Tigers' shutout during the last minute of play.
As a team, Ouachita accumulated 18 shots with seven on goal while the Storm hit 20 shots with eight on goal.
The Tigers will continue conference play as the team travels to Alva, Oklahoma next Thursday, Sept. 28 to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m.
