Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist Lady Tigers basketball team lost 75-41 on Thursday evening to Harding University.
Ouachita (12-12, 8-10 GAC) has now lost four consecutive games to Harding dating back to the 2015-2016 season. The Lady Tigers shot just 33.3 percent from the field on Thursday evening.
After falling behind in the first quarter 17-7 the Lady Tigers offense stormed back in the second quarter to make it a 35-27 game. Ouachita shot 69.2 percent from the field in the second quarter and appeared to be catching fire.
The second half was a different story though as the team could not buy a bucket, as shot after shot rattled around inside the hoop before falling out and into the hands of a Harding (13-13, 9-9 GAC) defender.
Harding had three players end the night in double figures. Chasidee Owens (Springdale, Ark.) scored in double-figures for the fifth consecutive game.
Kori Bullard (Hot Springs, Ark.) was a force on the defensive side of the court collecting 4 blocks on the night.
The Lady Tigers will look to break out of their slump on Saturday afternoon against Arkansas-Monticello. Tip-off for the women's game is scheduled for 2 p.m.
