ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Tigers Men's Swim team sends seniors out right with hard fought battle against Henderson State.
Five seniors swam their last race with the Tigers as they drop the meet to the Reddies 79-126,
The Night started off well for Ouachita as the 400 yard medley relay team made up of
Alex Noel,
Mitchell Lee,
Sebastian Bustillo and
Vaughn Stresow came in second. Then in the 1000 yard free sophomore
Trayton Armstrong showed how much he has grown this season by capturing second place.
The Tigers continued to grind as senior
Brandon Parramore picked up a second place finish in the 200 free while
Sebastian Bustillo finished in third. In the 50 free
Vaughn Stresow finished two tenths of a second out of second place but picked up the third for the Tigers.

Alexander Podguzov and junior
Mitchell Lee finished second and third in the 200 IM giving Ouachita more confidence in the battle.
Then the senior
Brandon Parramore showed why he is one of the best as he dominated in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:58:94. Second in the butterfly was freshman
Sebastian Bustillo who continued to have a great night. In the 100 yard freestyle
Vaughn Stresow captured another third place with a time of 49:21.
The senior class showed out especially in the 200 yard backstroke as
Alexander Podguzov put in a time of 1:52:89 to beat every opponent by at least four seconds.
Noah Day also captured second by six tenths of a second.
Trayton Armstrong continued his great night by securing a second place in the 500 yard freestyle.
Mitchell Lee then put in a second place in the 200 yard breaststroke to complete all the individual races for the Tigers.
The last race was a 400 yard freestyle relay that featured four of the senior Tigers.
Noah Day,
Brandon Parramore,
Jacob Evans, and
Alexander Podguzov all swam 48 second 100s and finished second in their last competition in Waggoner Pool.
The Tigers will now begin to prepare for the NSISC Championships which begin in February.
