ARKADELPHIA, ARK—Coming off a 27-14 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State in front of a sellout homecoming crowd, the Ouachita Tiger football team will hit the road to take on GAC opponent, East Central University this Saturday, Oct. 12.
Last week, East Central fell in a high scoring game to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Boll Weevils 46-49, marking the third straight game the offense has produced over 40 points.

East Central Scouting Report:

Offense: East Central's young offense is led by freshman quarterback Kenny Hrncir and sophomore running back Ontario Douglas. Hrncir passed for 13-24 and 245 yards, including 1 interception against Arkansas-Monticallo. Douglas Rushed for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns. In total against the Boll Weevils, ECU put up 524 yards of offense. Receiver JayQuan Lincoln was targeted 8 times for 128 yards including a 31-yard long. Last week, ECU converted 4-5 4
th downs.

Defense: Against the Boll Weevils, the East Central defensive allowed 600 yards—258 thorough the air and 342 on the ground. Safety Cameron Jones and defensive back Christian Fleischhauer led the team in tackles with 9 each, including 1 tackle for loss. Linebacker Devon Roush had 7 tackles.

Last week for Ouachita, the tigers used opportune turnovers to help secure a 27-14 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State pushing themselves to 5-0 on the season.

Offense:
Brayden Brazeal once again led the offense with 19 completions, 187 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Allie Freeman,
Hayden Waller and
TJ Cole jumped in the mix each catching passes for over 10 yards. On the ground Brazeal rushed for a season high of 50 yards.
Brockton Brown rushed for 61 yards on 15 touches and a touchdown and Sun'cee Thomas rushed for 45 on 11 touches.

Keandre Evans again led the Tigers with 10 tackles.
Ty Compton had 8 tackles including 1 for a loss and
Austin Guymon had 7 tackles.

Hayden Lassiter pulled down the two interceptions for the Tigers both of which led to Ouachita scoring 10 points.

The Tigers are 6-1 all time against East Central University. Last year, the Ouachita shut out ECU 42-0 marking the third straight year Ouachita has put up over 40 points in this matchup.
If the Tigers win on Saturday they will secure their 12
th consecutive winning season—The longest active streak in Arkansas College Football.
