Box Score Alva, Okla. – Tigers win third straight conference game defeating Northwestern Oklahoma State with a final of 2-1.
Gracen Turner for the third game in a row recorded a point. In this match she put the Tigers on top at the 48 minute mark with a goal in the lower right.
After a goal by the Rangers, Ouachita recaptured the lead thanks to
Jaymee Dotson. Dotson received a pass from
Reese Marks then fired it into the lower center of the goal giving the Tigers their game winning point.
Ouachita in total put in 12 shots with seven of them being on goal. Turner accounted for five shots, three on goal.
Josilyn Kispert recorded two shots both being on goal;
Meagan North,
Katie Crouse,
Hanna Thompson and
Ashlyn Heckman compiled the other shots for the Tigers.
In goal for the Tigers was
Erin Webster who played the whole 90 minutes of the match. She faced 20 shots from the Rangers with 10 of those shots being on goal. Webster saved nine of those shots on her way to the win.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday as they travel to Weatherford, Okla. to face off against Southwestern Oklahoma State at 12 p.m. to complete their Oklahoma road trip.
