BETHANY, Okla. –
Adrianna Nolly showed out for the Tigers tallying 19 kills, but Ouachita fell in the end to Southern Nazarene with a final of 3-1.
Nolly only attempted 34 attacks in the match giving her a .471 hitting percentage. She also added three block solos, two digs and a service ace.
Rileigh Fielder recorded 11 kills on the day for the Tigers securing a .294 hitting percentage,
Katie Camp put in nine kills on the day and was an anchor defensively tallying 20 digs.
Joni Schneider recorded another double-double for the Tigers with 20 assists and 10 digs.
Temi Fayiga added in 31 assists, nine digs and one service ace for Ouachita. On the defensive end libero
Lexie Castillow led the Tigers with 29 digs.
The Tigers began the first set strong capturing an 18-13 lead. However, the Crimson Storm fought back and took the first set 25-23. The second set saw four ties in it before Southern Nazarene took it 25-20.
Ouachita did not give up heading into the third set firing on all cylinders. The Tigers began the set on a 9-3 run capped off by a
Joni Schneider ace. Ending the set on a 4-0 run, the Tigers won the third set 25-19. Ouachita battled hard in the final set but fell in the end 25-20.
The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow against Oklahoma Baptist at 11:30 a.m. to finish out their Oklahoma road trip.
