ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Tigers use a huge second half scoring three goals to defeat Southern Nazarene 3-1 at Kluck Field.
Ouachita's first goal came in the second on a score by
Abraham Lazo. Quickly after the Tigers took the 1-0 lead, Lazo rocketed in his second goal this time from a pass by
Jakob Cuellar who received it from his twin brother,
Noa Cuellar.
The Tigers did not stop at a 2-0 lead as at the 75 minute mark Ouachita struck again.
Jakob Cuellar sent in a shot off a pass from
Kobe Coleman.
A red card by the Crimson Storm's goalie gave the Tigers an 11 on 10 advantage in the second half.
Matt Day picked up the win for the Tigers from in the goal. Day was influential the who match protecting the goal and being a vocal leader.
The Tigers return to action on Thursday, Oct. 24 as they travel to Wichita, Kan. to face off against Newman University. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. as the Tigers look to continue their great conference play.
