ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Tigers hot streak continues as they take down the Harding Bisons 2-0 during the last home game at Kluck Field this season.
Ashlyn Heckman, who leads the teams with eight goals, opened up the scoring for Ouachita at the 12 minute mark of the first half.
Carmen Scott sent a ball long from the Tigers territory that was received by
Josilyn Kispert. Kispert immediately sent it to Heckman who lofted one over the sliding goalie into goal.
Jaymee Dotson put the game out of reach on a goal of her own with three minutes left in the second half. Another long ball by
Carmen Scott reached the foot of
Meagan North who crossed it into the box to Dotson. Dotson then rocketed the ball into the right side of the net past the Bisons goalie.
Ouachita put in 11 shots in the game with four being on goal. However, the Bisons put in only five shots with only one being on goal. Heckman and Dotson led the Tigers with eight combined shots, three on goal.
Erin Webster started in goal for the Tigers on the day and played the whole 90 minutes of the match. She saved the only shot that was on goal by the Bisons.
