ARKADELPHIA, ARK—Coming off a 38-21 statement win against Southern Arkansas University at the Murphy USA Classic in El Dorado, Arkansas, the Tigers will return to Cliff Harris Stadium for their final two games of the year, first against the University of Arkansas at Monticello on November 9 and then for the Battle of the Ravine against Henderson State on November 16.

Last week, Arkansas-Monticello fell to Henderson 27-20 at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium in Monticello. Despite beating the Reddies statistically in first downs, yards, rushing and time of possession, the Weevils were unable to match the consistent scoring of Henderson State.

Offense: Monticello looks to the ground as the backbone of their offense. Running backs Devontae Dean and Alex Day consistently gain 70+ yards per game. On the year the Boll Weevil rushing attack has put up 2155 yards, compared to the 1267 yards through the air. The UAM offense is led by quarterback Demilion Brown, who against HSU passed for two touchdowns and 216 yards.

Defense: Against Henderson, the Weevil defense gave up 375 yards, which is about what opponents have been averaging throughout the year. Linebacker Gabe Brace is a dominant presence on the defensive side of things recording 7 tackles against the Reddies. Linebackers Justin Legier and Deontae Haynes put up 6 and 5 tackles respectively. On average the Boll Weevils have been outscores 23-25 on the year.

Allie Freeman became the pioneer of the Great American Conference's 5,000-yard club, being the first player in conference history to reach the 5k mark in all-purpose yards.

Offense: GAC Player of the Week
Brockton Brown scored continued doing what Brockton does best, and that is rush the ball for touchdowns. He led the Tiger rushing attack for the second week in a row with three touchdowns and 149 yards. He averaged 9.3 yards per carry.
TJ Cole and
Shun'cee Thomas each put up over 80 yards a piece, Thomas with one touchdown of his own.

Allie Freeman for a 35-yard touchdown pass, which completed a 74-yard drive in just two minutes and four seconds. On the day Brzeal has 8 completions for 130 yards and a touchdown and

The Tigers are 6-1 all time against the University of Arkansas at Monticello and will come into Saturdays game with a 2-game win streak against the Boll Weevils. Last year, on the road, the Tigers beat UAM 35-10, scoring 28 points in the first half.
