SEARCY, Ark. – Tigers dominate Bison, 77-62; Ouachita picks up its third win in four games.
 
Mahlon Martin lead all scorers with 21 points and added six rebounds for the Tigers. Matt Stanley put in 14 points and four rebounds. Off the bench Morris Talbert scored 12 and had three assists in the game.
 
In the first half the Tigers started out with a 7-3 run capped off by a Matthew Ward three pointer. Mahlon Martin and Kendarious Smith free throws would extend the Ouachita lead to 11-4. The Tigers first double digit lead would come at the 13:00 minute mark as Morris Talbert made a layup off a steal from Kendarious Smith. The Tigers would extend the lead to 15 on a 7-0 run within a minute of action. At the 5:50 mark Allie Freeman would force the Bison turnover and take the ball in for the layup to give the Tigers a 17 point advantage. The largest lead of the half came with 22 seconds left before the break as Mahlon Martin made a driving layup. Going into the half Ouachita would hold a 42-24 lead over the Bison.
 
At the beginning of the second half the Tigers would allow the Bison to go on a 9-2 run to cut the lead down to 11. Ouachita would respond though as Eric Brown and Mahlon Martin would hit back to back threes and put the lead back at 17. The Bison would then go on a 11-2 run to cut the lead down to 5 with 6:30 left to play. The Tigers would respond by going on their own run of 13-4 capped off by a Mahlon Martin three as the shot clock expired. Eric Brown and Matt Stanley would each convert one free throw in the final minute of play and the Tigers would take the 77-62 victory on the road.
