ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Six Tigers scored in double digits as Ouachita and Southeastern Oklahoma State went in to overtime. The Tigers would drop the game to the Savage Storm with a score of 93-89.

Kendarious Smith led the Tigers with 13 points and seven rebounds. Trey Harris put in 12 points while Allie Freeman added 11. Matt Stanley, Morris Talbert and Eric Brown all scored 10 points in the battle.

The Tigers would allow the Savage Storm to jump out to a quick lead, but would respond by going on a 10-3 run to cut the Southeastern lead from 10 to three. The run was capped off by a Kendarious Smith traditional three point play off of a Trey Harris steal. Allie Freeman would knock down a three pointer to cut the Savage Storm lead back to three after Southeastern expanded their lead to six. However, the Savage Storm would build up to a 15 point lead and go into the half leading 47-33.

The Tigers would start the second half on the 11-3 run to cut the Savage Storm lead to six at 50-44. Ouachita would allow Southeastern to build up a double digit lead again before going on a 9-1 run capped off by a Trey Harris three pointer to cut the lead to two. The Tigers would never be able to secure a lead in the half, but Allie Freeman's bucket and free throw plus Morris Talbert's layup would tie the game sending the team into overtime.

Matt Stanley's free throw at the 4:33 mark left in overtime would give Ouachita their first lead of the night. Allie Freeman's three would answer the Savage Storm three to give the Tigers a 83-82 lead. The Tigers would battle the rest of the night including cutting the lead to three with one minute left in the overtime period; however, Ouachita would give up a three pointer with twelve seconds left to dropping the game 93-89.
