Madison Brittain Highlights Season Finale with 26 Points

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Alivia Huell scores 14 points and adds five rebounds as she suited up for the last time in the purple and gold.
 
Madison Brittain was the game high scorer as she put in 26 points during the season finale. Madison Raney added 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in the loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
The Lady Tigers would take the early lead after a Madison Raney three pointer and an Eden Crow jumper at 5-3. They would extend the lead to eight after two Alivia Huell three pointers. The Tigers would see their lead be cut down to two points before going on a 4-0 run to end the quarter taking a 19-13 lead.
 
In the second quarter, Madison Brittain would continue her strong showing as she would start a run for the Tigers by making a three to take back the seven point lead. The Tigers would allow the Savage Storm to come back and tie the game at 26. Eden Crow and Madison Raney would make jumpers to extend the Lady Tiger's lead back to four. Ouachita and Southeastern Oklahoma State would go into the half tied at 34.
 
Madison Brittain would score 11 of the Lady Tiger's 19 points in the third quarter. The Tigers and Savage Storm would go back and forth exchanging the lead. Ouachita would trail the Savage Storm by a score of 57-53.
 
The Lady Tigers would start a fourth quarter on a 8-2 run to take the lead at 61-59. The run would be capped off by a Madison Raney jumper. Ouachita and Southeastern would allow the lead to go back and forth until the Savage Storm hit consecutive threes with two minute minutes left. The Lady Tigers would battle but never capture back the lead and drop the game 76-80.
 
The Tigers end the season going 7-21 during the regular season and 5-17 in the Great American Conference.
