BETHANY, Okla.- Ouachita Men's Soccer team defeated Southern Nazarene 1-0 in their Great American Conference opener.
The lone goal of the day came off of the foot of
Nery Flores in the 56' of the game. The goal was the senior's first career goal as a Tiger.
Matt Day manned the goal for the Tigers playing all 90 minutes of the game. He tallied three saves on six Crimson Storm shots.
Ouachita in total had nine shots during the gam; four of which were on goal.
Abraham Lazo and Flores each accounted for two shots while
David Stankovic,
Alexis Lara,
Ryan Shaughnessy,
Caden Pulliam and
Noa Cuellar each had one.

- The win is the first for the Tigers this season after a hard fought non-conference schedule.
- Fouling was minimal in the game as both SNU and Ouachita only committed four each.
