SEARCY, Ark. – Tigers fall in the final game of the Harding Invitational to Missouri S&T 3-1.
Adrianna Nolly lead the Tigers on the day with 12 kills to continue her great season. She added three blocks, two digs and an ace on the day.
Rounding out a great tournament,
Tabatha Huckabee tallied nine kills and two blocks during the game.
Lexie Castillow and
Katie Camp led the way defensively for the Tigers as they put in 17 and 16 digs respectively.
Both of the Tigers setters played well on the day as
Temi Fayiga accounted for 18 assists and
Joni Schneider had 15.
The Tigers started out the game in a fight in the first set; however, they would fall behind and drop the set 25-13. They would answer with a loud roar winning the second 25-16 behind four kills in the set from Huckabee.
Ouachita could not find a way to close out the last two sets dropping both by a score of 25-21.
Their next game will be on the road in a conference matchup against Arkansas at Monticello on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:00 p.m.
