Arkadelphia, Ark. – The Lady Tigers were unable to keep up with Henderson State's pace as they fell 75-46.

Maija Gertstone led the Lady Tigers with 22 points. Madison Rainey contributed 10 points and 8 boards.

Maci Mains led the Reddies with 17 points off the bench. Hailey Estes added 8 points with 13 rebounds.

The Lady Tigers dug themselves into an early hole and never found their way out. Shooting a mere 31 percent from the field, Ouachita was unable to find an offensive groove resulting in a 29-point loss.

Jakyya Clay returned to the lineup and the Lady Tigers received a much-needed boost in depth and offensive contribution, however, Madison Brittain was lost late in the second quarter with an apparent knee injury.

In the first half, Henderson's defense lengthened Ouachita's offensive possessions deep into the shot clock, resulting in low percentage shots. The Reddie's offense centered around penetration, as well as, ball movement to find open threes. As a result, the Reddies went into halftime up 32-17.

With Brittain out with an injury in the second half, the Lady Tigers lost an offensive staple. Ouachita scored nearly as many points in the third quarter as they did in the first half, but still found themselves in a hole heading into the final frame.

Henderson led for nearly the entire game and stretched their lead in the final frame.

Ouachita fell to 4-11, 1-8 in conference play, while Henderson State improved to 11-4, 6-3 in conference.
