Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita fought till the end but was unable to keep up with Harding in a 69-60 Lady Tiger loss.
Eden Crow led the Lady Tigers with 20 points and 7 boards. Jessi Bennett tied her season high with 11 points and Maija Gertstone added 10.
Cheyenne Brown led the Lady Bisons with 15 points. Kennedy Cooper added 11 points in just 13 minutes.
The Lady Tigers began the game with high energy and four straight made field goals. Harding switched between a zone and man for the first quarter. Despite the quick start, Ouachita was slowed down to close the first. Harding exploded to finish the quarter with a 22-11 lead.
Eden Crow took over for Ouachita on the offensive side of the ball in the first half scoring 14. Harding was consistent on the offensive end with an aggressive, fast paced game plan. With under two till half, Jessi Bennett knocked down two straight three-pointers to bring the Lady Tigers within seven.
Ouachita closed the half on a 10-1 run, but the Lady Bisons still controlled the lead at 35-29.
Harding began the third on a 11-2 run and started to pull away. The Lady Bisons controlled the pace through the first three quarters with Ouachita steadily fading. Harding took a 53-39 lead into the final 10 minutes.
The Lady Tigers battled in the fourth but was unable to make up enough ground in a nine-point loss.
Ouachita fell to 4-18, 1-15 in conference play, while Harding improved to 15-7, 12-4 in conference.
