Tigers Drop Game One 11-1 Against Bison

SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Ouachita Tigers (4-6 GAC, 8-11 Overall) fell to the Oklahoma Baptist Bison (8-2 GAC, 15-5 Overall) in game one 1-11.

Beau Burson (2-4) was charged with the loss from game one against the Bison. He threw 5.1 innings and allowed nine runs (seven earned) on 11 hits, five walks, and five strikeouts. Noah Fowler (1-0) was first out of the pen for the Tigers. He threw one inning and struckout two of the three batters he faced. Caleb Donoho (0-0) was the final pitcher for the Tigers and threw a third of an inning. He gave up two runs (zero earned) on three hits and a strikeout.

The Tigers scored one run against the Bison and it came in the top of the sixth inning. Louis Steen hit a sacrifice fly ball to right field that plated Blake Tubbs.
